We don't carry Henna products, but we recognize there is a interest in it. Here's a good reference on Henna tattoos you will enjoy. We're looking into sources for safe Henna products that we may consider adding to our temporary tattoo product line. I'd appreciate your comments. Oct 7, 2008, 6:43 pm
Take a look at this couple with armband tattoos and see if you can tell which one is real and which is a fake. Then come back and read the rest of this post. A good quality waterslide temporary tattoo can be very hard to distinguish from a real tattoo.
Actually, this was a trick question. Both of the tattoos are temporary tattoos. Live your fantasy for a few hours or a few days. There's no pain, no blood, and no lifetime commitment.

The New York Times answers the question in this article. It might be a good idea to wear a temporary tattoo in those highly visible areas of the body and remove it for your job. We have a lot of people who are weekend bikers who do that. Here's a photo of a young woman enjoying a temporary tattoo at a Harley-Davidson event. Oct 5, 2008, 6:53 pm
While tattoos have been mainstream for some time, most of the professionals I know who have one keep it in a discreet place so it can be hidden under clothes. This Wall Street Journal article describes some reasons people may wish they had not gotten a tattoo.
Many people opt for quality waterslide tattoos that are often difficult to tell from real tattoos. That avoids the pain and lifetime commitment of an inked tattoo. Temporary tattoos come in hundreds of styles and sizes, so it's easy to find something you like. They usually last about a week...depending on where they are located and how they are cared for. Some people keep several of a favorite temporary tattoo on hand so they can wear the same one on a regular basis.

With Navratri just a week away, everybody is busy preparing for the nine-day fest. The shiny, lustrous stick-on tattoos are new accessories that have caught the fancy of the enthusiastic lot. This style of body decoration involves various materials that are simply glued to the skin. In some cases the "tattoo" is already prepared so you can peel it off and place it against your skin where body heat activates the glue. I've sampled stick-on tattoos from several suppliers in the past, and found them difficult to work with. There never seemed to be much interest in this type of body decoration in the United States. It's pretty hard to beat a good quality waterslide temporary tattoo for simple and realistic body decoration. Oct 5, 2008, 11:44 am
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because it's a time when people throw out their inhibitions and wear costumes that often represent a whole different personality. This is the one time of year it's considered OK to do that. Temporary tattoos are always popular as accessories to costumes or even as the costume itself. I'm giving a free bat and moon temporary tattoo to everyone who places an order during the month of October. Consider using temporary tattoos as part of your Halloween activities. Here's another sad story of a reaction to black henna temporary tattoos. A good henna artist can produce some beautiful art, but be sure they are not using black paste containing PPD. Real Henna is brown and safe. Oct 1, 2008, 9:48 am
I just ran across one of the cleverest uses for temporary tattoos I have seen. Tattoos For Tots has designed tattoos for young children that help them learn. Considering how much kids love temporary tattoos, this is a great idea for helping them learn new words by association. My hat is off to the ladies who came up with this idea. For older kids, check out some of the more traditional temporary tattoos for kids. Oct 1, 2008, 9:05 am
George Clooney is one seriously tattooed guy in the 2002 movie Welcome To Cottonwood . Makeup artist Christian Tinsley, who did the fake tattoos on Brad Pitt’s hand for the Ocean movies, did the temporary tattoos on Clooney for this film. The designs cover both of his arms, hands, chest, neck and shoulders when his character is seen wearing a tank top. You don't have to be a makeup artist to create a similar look if you use waterslide temporary tattoos. Here are examples of some fake tattoos that you could use. Sep 30, 2008, 8:04 am
We all experience changing moods, so why not change your tattoo to fit the current mood. That's one of the advantages of waterslide temporary tattoos. They're fast and easy to apply, and you can remove them at any time. Women like to keep some on hand to accessorize their outfits. View some photos of creative temporary tattoo applications on both women and men. Yes, men enjoy them too. Sep 26, 2008, 3:40 pm
Ozark Harley-Davidson celebrated their 10th anniversary with an open house featuring food and activities for everyone attending. Dozens of people, of all ages, got temporary tattoos. View photos of some of them "living their fantasy".Sep 22, 2008, 2:13 pm

The Charleston post Courier offers a look at some tattooing options across the Lowcountry. It's a good story about a young woman's thought process as she considered getting a tattoo and how a reputable tattoo artist helped with her decision. I always encourage people, especially women, to not yield to peer pressure and do something that will be with them for life. Some people try temporary tattoos before getting a real tattoo. Funtoos.com has been marketing temporary waterslide tattoos since 1988, and they have a lot of photos of people wearing temporary tattoos on their web site. Sep 19, 2008, 2:24 pm
This pretty lady adds a sensual touch for her husband's return from a business trip. Do you think her husband was impressed with her temporary tattoo? The answer is a resounding "yes"! I know, because I'm the husband. Sep 17, 2008, 2:33 pm
